Are we in an age about to self-destruct? A lot of evidence points in that direction. We are again testing nuclear weapons technology, and some of our worst "enemies" are quickly following suit. The conflict in the Middle East is never-ending. US foreign policy is forced to respond to crisis after crisis, without the ability to chart a clear, consistent course. The "peace dividend" that momentarily followed the end of the Cold War is quickly being replaced by a new Cold War with new adversaries. And, while these developments are not in the interest of most people, they do serve the interests of those who produce weapons and control armies, so it may be naive to think that everyone wants peace.
Is there an alternative? Yes, the American people can join forces and demand a better course. Meta United is dedicated to helping us create a better way—a path to revolutionary change that takes us from the world of fear-based public policy to positive public policy.
